Our desires are to remain Holy yet relevant and effective in our approach to reaching the world, to be actively involved in our communities through life groups, sports, community events, public services, and radio ministry.

Vision

Our Vision is to do whatever it takes to be steadfast and committed to the responsibility of spreading The Good News of Jesus Christ by Reaching, Refreshing, and Restoring our communities and cities.

We desire to Reach Out to those that are lost and discouraged and Reach In and build up those that are in the Body of Christ to make new disciples for the Kingdom.

The Great Commission of Matthew 28:19 sets the stage for the ministry we offer. The Lord commands "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit we will see the harvest because of our faith."

Our Team

Devon Rutherford
Senior Pastor

Pastor Devon Rutherford serves as the senior pastor of Faith Harvest Ministries in Monroe, Georgia. Prior to establishing Faith Harvest Ministries, he received a B.A. in business management and worked for many years in the business world before serving full time as the youth and associate pastor at Monument of Faith Ministries in Miami, Florida. In the 13 years that he attended Monument of Faith Ministries he became affiliated with the International Church of God. Pastor Rutherford is an ordained minister and is still actively involved with the International Church of God and its global mission.

Additionally, Pastor Rutherford is regularly featured as a speaker at various church events and conferences both in the US and abroad. His missions work throughout the world has prompted him to bring a global focus to his ministry, as well as inspire others to serve the underdeveloped communities of the world.

While growing up in Jamaica, Pastor Rutherford shadowed his grandfather Reverend Lionel Rutherford who served as the pastor of the Glenislay Holiness church for many years before his passing in November 2004. As a youth, Pastor Devon Rutherford mimicked preachers and played church. He later discovered that God had placed a calling on his life, even at the tender age of eight years old. This calling eventually led him to move to Georgia in 2005 where he planted a church, which is now Faith Harvest Ministries.

Pastor Rutherford along with his wife of 28 years, Mary, and children, Sarah and Devin, stepped out on faith and have been moving forward ever since. Their greatest joy is to reach out and help those that are in need.

Outside his ministry, he is involved in Pharmacy Management and fills his days by spending time with his family. His interests include traveling, reading, and watching sports.

MARY RUTHERFORD
Women's Ministry President

Mary Rutherford leads Faith Harvest Ministries’ Women’s Ministry. Prior to establishing Faith Harvest Ministries with her husband, Pastor Rutherford, Mary earned a degree in business administration. The couple has been married for more than 29 years. They are blessed with two children, Sarah and Devin.

Mary has a desire to see every woman at Faith Harvest Ministries connected and walking in their calling. Under her leadership, the Women’s Ministry encourages women to pursue a transformed life in Christ, while growing together through the study of the Word, prayer, worship service and outreach

Mary's mission extends beyond her role at Faith Harvest Ministries. She is a Sr. Accountant in the HR/Payroll division and has been in the financial industry for the last 17 years.

Outside of ministry, Mary enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

MADELINE LOUIS
Director of Counseling

Madeline Louis is a founding member of Faith Harvest Ministries, where she serves as the church’s Director of Counseling. In this role, Madeline provides support and assistance to the members of the church and the greater Atlanta community. Her mission to help everyone she meets live a purpose-driven life.

Madeline’s mission extends beyond her role at Faith Harvest Ministries. She holds a Master’s degree in human resource management and has more than 24 years of experience working in the human resource industry.

Outside of ministry, Madeline enjoys exercising, traveling, and watching sports.

MARIE SMITH
Missions Director

Marie Smith is a founding member of Faith Harvest Ministries, where she serves as the church’s Missions Director. In this role, she is responsible for the overall planning, development, and deployment of programs designed to spread the Gospel of Christ around the world.

Prior to joining Faith Harvest Ministries, she earned a B.A. in Business Administration. She also worked in the retail-pharmaceutical industry for over 15 years.

Outside of ministry, Marie enjoys mentoring and volunteering to improve the lives of young women in her community.

SARAH RUTHERFORD
Public Relations and Communications Specialist

Sarah Rutherford is a founding member of Faith Harvest Ministries, where she serves as the church’s Public Relations and Communications Specialist. In this role, Sarah manages the church’s webpages and social media. She also coordinates online outreach efforts.

In her early career, Sarah has worked in political communication–-first in the Obama White House and later in the New York Attorney General’s Office.

Sarah is currently practicing law in Washington, D.C. She recently graduated from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Prior to law school, Sarah earned a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In her free time, she enjoys taking exercise dance classes, listening to podcasts, and traveling.
